We Asked For It???

Want to know why u r working so hard?

On the very first day of the world, God created the cow.

He said to the cow: "Ah Gu (cow), today I have created you! Your job is to go to the field with the farmer all day long. You will provide the energy to pull things! You will also provide milk for people to drink! You are to work all day under the sun! In return, you will only eat grass. For that, you will have a life span of 50 years."

Ah Gu objected. "What.. I work all day in the sun and I get only to eat grass! On top of that, I have to give my milk away! This is tough and you want me to live 50 years! I'll take 20 and you can have the remaining 30 years back!"

God agreed.

On the next day, God created the dog.

He said to the dog. "Ah Kow (dog), I have created you for a purpose. You are to sit all day by the door of your master's house! Should anyone come in, you are to bark at them! In return, you will eat your master's leftovers. I'll give you a life span of 20 years."

Ah Kow objected. " What! I have to sit by the door all day and will need to bark at people, and what do I get...LEFTOVERS... This isn't right, I'll take 10 and you can have the remaining 10 years back!"

God agreed again.

On the third day, God created the monkey.

He said to the monkey. "Lao Kao (monkey), your job is to entertain people. You will make them laugh, act stupid and make faces! You will also do somersaults and swing on trees to amaze them. In return, you will get to eat bananas and peanuts. For that, I'll give you 20 years to live."
Naturally the monkey objected. "This is ridiculous, I gotta make faces and make people laugh let not even come to the part about the trees and somersaults. Tell you what, I'll give 10 years of my life to thank you for my existence and I'll take 10. What do you think?"

God agreed again.

On the forth day, God created humans. God said to the man. "You are my best piece of work, for that, you will only need to sleep, eat, sleep, play, eat, sleep again and do nothing else. You will get to eat all the best things and play with the best toys. All you need to do is enjoy all your life. For this kinda of life, I'll give you 20 years."

Just like the rest, the man objected. "What, all I need to do is relax and enjoy myself and I have only 20 years to live? Tell you what, you've 30 years back from Ah Gu, 10 years from Ah Kow and another 10 from Lao Kao and you probably don't know what to do with all those lifes. Why not I take them all and I'll have 70 years to live?"

God being such good natured, agreed with a smile.....

AND THAT IS WHY.....

We eat, sleep, play and enjoy for the first 20 years of our lives when we are growing up.

Work like a cow for the next 30 to raise our family.

Sit outside the door and bark at people for the next 10 when we are retired.

And finally, we make faces and perform monkey tricks to entertain our grandchildren for the final 10 years.

GET IT ?????

A long time ago in China , a girl named Li-Li got married and went to live with her husband and mother-in-law. In a very short time, Li-Li found that she couldn't get along with her mother-in-law at all. Their personalities were very different, and Li-Li was angered by many other mother-in-law' s habits. In addition, she criticized Li-Li constantly.

Days passed, and weeks passed.

Li-Li and her mother-in-law never stopped arguing and fighting. But what made the situation even worse was that, according to ancient Chinese tradition, Li-Li had to bow to her mother-in-law and obey her every wish. All the anger and unhappiness in the house was causing Li-Li's poor husband great distress.

Finally, Li-Li could not tolerate her mother-in-law' s bad temper and dictatorship any longer, and she decided to do something about it!

Li-Li went to see her father's good friend, Mr. Huang, who sold herbs. She told him the situation and asked if he would give her some poison so that she could solve the problem once and for all.

Mr. Huang thought for a while, and finally said, "Li-Li, I will help you solve your problem, but you must listen to me and obey what I tell you."

Li-Li said, "Yes, Mr. Huang, I will do whatever you tell me to do."

Mr.Huang went into the back room, and returned in a few minutes with a package of herbs. He told Li-Li, "You can't use a quick-acting poisonto get rid of your mother-in-law because that would cause people to become suspicious."Therefore, I have given you a number of herbs that will slowly build up poison in her body. Every other day prepare some delicious meal and put a little of these herbs in her serving. Now, in order to make sure that nobody suspects you, when she dies you must be very careful to act very friendly towards her. "Don't argue with her. Obey her everywish, andtreat her like a queen."

Li-Li was so happy. She thanked Mr. Huang andhurried home to start her plot of murdering her mother-in-law.

Weekswent by, and months went by, and every other day, Li-Li served the specially treated food to her mother-in-law. She remembered whatMr.Huang had said about avoiding suspicion. So she controlled her temper, obeyed her mother-in-law, and treated her like her own mother.

After six months had passed, the whole household had changed. Li-Lihad practiced controlling her temper so much that she found that shealmost never got mad or upset. She hadn't had an argument with hermother-in-law in six months because she now seemed much kinder and easier to get along with.

The mother-in-law' s attitude towards Li-Li changed, and she began to love Li-Li like her own daughter. She kept telling friends and relatives that Li-Li was the best daughter-in- law one could ever find. Li-Li and her mother-in-law were now treating each other like a real mother and daughter. Li-Li's husband was very happy to see what was happening.

One day, Li-Li came to see Mr. Huang and asked for his help again. She said,"Dear Mr. Huang, please help me to keep the poison from killing my mother-in-law. She's changed into such a nice woman, and I love her like my own mother. I do not want her to die because of the poison I gave her."

Mr. Huang smiled and nodded his head. "Li-Li, there's nothing to worry about. I never gave you any poison. The herbs I gave you were vitamins to improve her health. The only poison was in your mind and your attitude towards her, but that has been all washed away by the love which you gave to her.

"HAVE YOU REALIZED that how you treat others is exactly how they will treat you? There is a wise Chinese saying: "The person who loves others will also be loved in return." God might be trying to work in another person's life through you.

Tee Yi Ming = 。。???

One day, Howard Kelly, a poor boy was selling clothing door to door, to pay for his education realized that he only had 10 cents left in his pockets. He was hungry and so decided to ask for some food at the next house that he came to.
In the meantime he lost his hunger when a beautiful young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal, he asked her for a glass of water.
She saw that he was very hungry, so instead brought him a hugh glass of milk. He drank it very slowly and then asked :"how much do i owe you?"
"You do not owe me anything at all" she replied "my mother taught us never to accept anything for ding someone a kindness."
He replied:"then I thank you from the bottom of my heart."
When Howard Kelly left the house, as well as feeling stronger physically, he sensed a return of his faith in the Lord which he had nearly abandoned.
Years later, this same young woman fell gravely ill. The local doctors were mystified, so they sent her to the big city where they knew that the specialists would be able to diagnose this rare sickness.
Doctor H.K was called as a consultant. When he heard the name of the city where she lived, a memory burned brightly in his eyes. He get up and went to her room. As he entered her room, he immediately recognised her.
He returned to the consultation room, determined to do his best to save her life.
From that day on, he paid special attention to this case. After a long battle, the war was finally won.
Doctor H.K left instructions that the bill should be sent to him for authorisation. He looked it over, write something in the margin and sent it to her room.
She thought that when she opened the envelop, she would find an invoice that would take the rest of her life to pay in full.
But when she finally opened it......
Something caught her attention in the margin of the invoice....
She read these words "Paid in full with a glass of milk : Dcotor H.K"
Tears of joy filled her eyes and her heart. She prayed: Thank you Lord, for your love has crossed the hands and hearts of man.
There is a saying that goes like this: Bread thrown over the water returns to you.
An act of goodness that you do today can come back to you or someone that you love, when you are not expecting it. If you do not see this act of goodness returned, at least you will have made a difference in this world.
And in the end, isn't that what life is all about?
